By purchasing shipped hatching eggs from White Ivy Acres, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions regarding shipped fertile eggs.

Hatching Egg Disclaimer

Hatching eggs are extremely delicate and many factors outside of our control can affect fertility and hatch rates once eggs leave our farm. While we work hard to provide clean, fresh, fertile, and properly handled eggs, we cannot guarantee hatch rates due to shipping conditions, incubation methods, weather, handling by postal carriers, or incubator performance.

Hatch Rate Policy

Due to variables outside of our control after shipment, we do not guarantee hatch rates on shipped eggs.

Factors affecting hatch rates include but are not limited to: USPS handling and delays

  • Rough transit/shaking

  • Temperature fluctuations

  • Improper incubation

  • Humidity errors

  • Power outages

  • Incubator calibration

  • Elevation and climate differences

By purchasing shipped hatching eggs, the buyer accepts these risks.

What We Guarantee

White Ivy Acres guarantees that:

  • Eggs are collected fresh and shipped promptly.

  • Eggs are packaged carefully and securely to help minimize damage during transit.

  • Eggs come from healthy, actively breeding flocks.

  • Eggs are candled and inspected before shipping whenever possible.

After Delivery Instructions

Recommended Resting Period For best hatch results:

  • Allow eggs to rest large end up for 12–24 hours before incubation.

  • Carefully follow proper incubation and humidity guidelines.

  • Use a calibrated incubator and thermometer/hygrometer.

No Returns Due to the nature of hatching eggs and biosecurity concerns: No returns are accepted.

No refunds will be issued for infertility claims or poor hatch rates.

Shipping Coverage

  • Damaged Eggs Upon Arrival If eggs arrive visibly damaged: Photos of the damaged eggs and packaging must be sent within 2 hours of delivery.

  • Clear photos must include: The shipping box Internal packaging

  • All damaged eggs Coverage for damaged eggs is as follows: Minor cracks may not qualify for replacement or refund.

  • Severely damaged or broken eggs may qualify for: Replacement eggs when available, OR Store credit at White Ivy Acres’ discretion. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Shipping Information

Eggs are shipped via USPS or UPS. Once packages are accepted by the USPS or UPS, White Ivy Acres is not responsible for postal delays, lost packages, or mishandling during transit. Tracking information will be provided once shipped.

Buyer Agreement

By purchasing shipped hatching eggs from White Ivy Acres, you confirm that you have read and agreed to all terms listed above and understand the risks associated with shipped fertile eggs.
